Dona Nobis Pacem

flag

World peace is still in my dreams. I always wish that someday, people will just set aside their differences and live in harmony forever. I know that it’s still possible.

Today, thousands of blogs, FB, twitter accounts and various social media platforms from across the world will be showing off their peace globes to show support to the annual global peace movement dubbed “Blogblast for Peace”. Blogs will flag the title “Dona Nobis Pacem”, meaning “Grant Us Peace”. Check out founder Mimi Lenox’ site for the details. This is my 2013 contribution and support.

Peace be with all of you!

Of course it is possible. The unknown is will we experience it in our lifetime? Always hopeful…

May it be so… om shanti, shalom, salaam, peace, peace, peace.
Please consider yourself officially invited to participate this year’s 5th Annual Gratitude (word) Quilt. Instructions (it is very simple) and a link that explains the origin of the word quilt can be found at the top of my blog. In past years there have been participants from every continent except Antarctica. I hope you’ll join us:-)

All so inspiring! I went from one wonderful image to the next. Thank you for gathering them and for supporting this movement. This will post tomorrow as #4199 in the Official Gallery @ blog4peace.com

My heart is praying and hoping for the people affected by the typhoon. Your images are heartbreaking. Will keep you and yours in my thoughts.
