A Day in Paradise

It was my wife’s birthday.

She only wanted a simple day.

But how could I just let that day pass without even a simple celebration. And because  I couldn’t bring her a dozen roses, I brought her to a million flowers – to a place called “paradise.”

Get ready to treat your eyes…

Al Ain Paradise is a garden park in our city which opens only during spring – a time when flowers  are in full blossom. It holds the Guinness World Record for the largest display of hanging flower baskets.

I dedicate all these flowers to you 🙂

Happy birthday, Mommy 😀

My wife says ‘thanks!’ My post came out a bit long but I have to tell you that I only chose the pics that I posted. I have a looooooot to choose from. I was the one who went camera crazy, and that’s although I wasn’t into flowers. I couldn’t help it, the place is so beautiful.

Thanks for the visit, Doc Gelo. Thanks for the bday greetings.
I hope your mom likes my amateur photographs. If you were here, you could have taken better angles coz I know how great photographer you are. Maybe your mom have experienced the last two year’s opening of Al Ain Paradise. This is the third year they are having this. The place is really gorgeous.
No, I don’t know Carla and Jo, but will check them out later. I actually read Carla’s comment in your “HKD Last Day” post and I remember reading something about Al Ain Paradise.
      God bless!

How long do those flowers bloom? There are probably enough to last the whole year through. It is so beautiful. Your wife’s smile reflects that beauty. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing this view of your world with those of us not lucky enough to see it in person.

Oh unfortunately the very hot weather during summer in this part of the world does not allow for the flowers to bloom like this. This park is open from winter to spring only. Spring will be over very soon, so the park will be closing quite soon. I’m glad to capture this year’s full bloom of the flowers 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

You have a sweet family too. That was a very thoughtful birthday outing for your wife, and it looks like the weather was perfect for it too.

The place looks really lovely! I’m sure my daughter would love to roam around and touch the flowers. Are you allowed to touch or pick flowers? If not, I’d probably be running after my kid the whole time we’ll be there! LOL

Yes we can touch them, but no, we can’t pick them! There were lots of guards roaming around, and surely you’ll have a hard time chasing after your kid 🙂
