One very useful tip, but I am sure most bloggers use is commenting on other’s blogs. This way, we get links on other sites that could invite possible visitors to come to our own site.

hi thanks for the visit. actually commenting is one of the most effective way of knowing the about the other blogger and making friends as well it means that you are reading what they posted and it interested you. this is actually one of my flaws when i read someone else’s blog and when i feel that they are a bit sensitive i don’t leave anything at all, i just click the entrecard or whatever just to leave my footprint lol. 🙂

i have been looking around for ways to join bc bloggers last year, glad that it is back now + that i was able to join! this q+a meme is quite cool, right? + i have to say, i agree with you, leaving comments is one sure-fire way of gaining new blog-friends, leaving your links + encouraging them to visit your site as well…:)

I’ve joined this meme too, and from my experience I tend to have more visitors when I started on improving my posts. When I first started blogging, it was just a series of short posts with photos I took, which were taken with a camera phone. Yup, I don’t even have my own point and shoot back then. Yup, life is hard, but I am thankful for what I got back then.
But when I realized that I need to improve, and I posted everything on my mind, the stats of my blog improved. Then I got my first digital camera from working as a freelancer at oDesk, and I was able to take better photos.
The secret (is it?) there is that quality posts are better than advertising. If you work hard for it, then rewards will follow through.

I like to read short posts with pictures, but the posts should have substance. I dont like long posts na wla naman laman. ut there are long posts which doesn’t bore me:) so as a reader, I want to read posts with atleast 300 to 600 words hehe

I have also learned that submitting your blog posts to social bookmarking sites like digg, stumble upon,delicious etc. could also help in gaining PR. 🙂
