BC Bloggers Party: Nurse Nelson Here

PhotobucketThe BC Bloggers group is coming up with an online party and part of this is posting a “getting to know me” post to get all the members acquainted with each other.

So as part of this group, I am posting this short description of myself. Pardon to some of the old-time readers here who may have known a lot already about me because I have posted a lot of things about myself here. But this will be for the sake of the new readers especially those from BC Bloggers.

My Name is Nelson. I am from Bulacan but I got a place in Antipolo City also. I am at present in the UAE working for a huge hospital here. I am a registered nurse by profession and my specialty is Neurosurgery and General Surgery.

I am married to Didith, a civil engineer by profession, but now a full-time wife and mom to our little toddler Iñigo. Our son is  turning two years old this coming July. He has his own baby blog which I manage myself. Check that out HERE. I look foward to having another son or daughter but will probably have that in God’s perfect time.

I love to write, that’s why I put up this site. I usually write about my experiences in life – personal or at work. My world has become bigger because of the posts that I shared here, and because of the people who read them.

I like pastas – both eating and cooking. I also like Starbucks frapuccinos, Galaxy chocolates, Hardees burgers, McDonalds breakfasts, chocolate cakes, kakanins, adobos, tapsilog and most of all, my wife’s pork steak.

I like staying in toy shops even before I got married. Now,  my son benefits a lot from that. Our house is like a mini-toy kingdom now. There are toys everywhere.

So there goes a little something about myself. Nothing extraordinary. Just an ordinary nurse trying to make a difference, a simple man trying to live a happy and fruitful journey called life.

No one person can ever experience all that life has to offer. It is only through sharing - experiences, feelings, insights - that we can hope to grow beyond our own meager lifetime.

Nurses are tough people. But behind great nurses are inspirations to keep them doing what they need to do - TO CARE.

Nurse or non-nurse, please feel free to move around the site. Everybody needs inspirations to be encouraged every now and then.
