Metro Manila and other areas in Central Luzon is badly hit by typhoon Ondoy today causing massive flooding in many areas. At this time, 42 have died, 20 are missing in Rizal, and 41,200 people are in 92 evacuation centers(abscbnnews.com).

Sana di na maulit ito. Last night I am in a similar situation. I think God wanted to share with me a message, to be able to see and feel how the homeless and affected people feel during these calamities. I have always been blessed never to experience hardships like that, but yesterday was different. It was like my body was about to give up being sick already then braving the storm on the way home, only to find out that I would be spending the next 8 hours stranded in flooded waters. Then it hit me now, if the people have gone through worse things, then I should be thankful and believe I can make it through anything.
