I have received this email for like five times already, and the message still moves me. I wanted to repost this on my blog, but I realized that a video version with some music will convey the message more. I found several versions on youtube, and chose sojiro11‘s as the best.
I am not sure who’s the original author but it started circulating in the Philippines sometime in August 2008. The email format for this was voted best email for 2008.
Sometimes, we complain a lot, never realizing that some other people are less fortunate than us.
i also received this email before and it’s nice to watch it on video format. still pierces my heart 🙂 i think everybody needs to see this.

Nice! It’s really a time to reflect. During this time of financial crisis, it’s so easy to complain. But sometimes we forget that some of our fellow Filipinos are not as lucky as we are. Some dont eat as often as we do. Some are not as healthy as we do. I guess, what we lack is appreciation of what we have.

Yup that’s true! I was just watching Balitang Middleeast on The Filipino Channel and saw some Filipinos laid off from work, and some were victims of illegal recruiters. So before we complain with how difficult our jobs are, we should still be thankful that we are still bringing home some money.

I have also received this email before and it’s really kinda touching. The world really needs to see more eye-openers in order to appreciate life.

I will not complain about being tired from all these studying again. 😦 Grabe yung batang may hinihilang super daming recyclables, and the old woman carrying a lot of twigs on her back. I’m thankful I don’t have to go through that!
