The photo challenge this week says that I have to take a picture of something - now and today… without cheating! I found out today’s theme while at work so I decided to take pictures on my way home.
I came from a night shift so I thought the sun would be up when I come out of the hospital.
Before I went home, I dropped by the cafeteria and bought some vegetable noodles to bring home for breakfast.
On my way home. Our place is known as the City of Gardens because everywhere there is greeneries.
Taking a shot while on stoplight. The last intersection before my building.
Taking the stairs on my way to my unit on the fourth floor. Exercise.
The morning promises that it’s going to be a great day.
And when the world is about to start their day, mine’s ending. Time to sleep now. Have a great morning, everyone!

Loved your pictures of your route home for the TODAY challenge. You live in a beautiful garden city. Thanks for sharing.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks for the visit, Francine!
You managed to snap off some wonderful shots on your way home, Nelson. I hope you got some rest, and got back up in time to enjoy some of that lovely sunshine.
I went up to Richmond today and took some city shots to post as well, for those that have never visited our city. It’s amazing how similar cities are, yet how different they are at the same time, depending on their location, and the culture of the fine folks living in them.
Thanks for the visit, Oples!
I’d love to see your photos of Richmond! I’ll check out your site for them.
Have a great day!
Beautiful place….
Thanks for the visit, Arvee!
Gorgeous pictures Nelson!! You live in a beautiful city for sure.
Al Ain City is one of the most beautiful places in the United Arab Emirates. Lots of trees and flowers around.
Thanks for coming over!
Thanks for sharing it… truly gorgeous.
Simple and beautiful pictures!
Thank you!
Great photo series. I like noodles very much. I’m sure that I’ll eat it when I visit there.
Thanks for the visit, Cocomino! We share the same love for noodles
noodles for breakgast!!! my kids will love this
great pics
Yup, my son loves noodles for beakfast.
Thanks for coming over!
Your streets are so neat. No litter. Sadly many of our towns look so dirty.
The local government here is very keen with cleanliness. Garbage is regularly collected, and the streets are sweeped often.
Thanks for the visit
Beautiful city, but hot this time of year, I suppose. We lived in Qatar for a few years, but I would always come home to Canada for the summer – just couldn’t take the heat in the Middle East!
Very hot indeed! Just a while ago, we went to church, and I could feel the warm air on my face. It was like facing an open oven! Really hot!
I like the view from your window. Lots of pretty trees
I love that view too! I enjoy watching the busy streets and the greeneries around
Thanks for the visit!
Hi Nelson. Nicely done!
Thanks, Cathy!

Really love all those shots. I loved the way you describe your route going back home. It’s really interesting! Oh and BTW, you have a wonderful place!
Thanks for the lovely comment, Krizza!
Nice. Dubai is neat. Sana ganito din sa Pinas.
This is in Abu Dhabi, but Dubai is pretty much the same although the buildings are much taller there. Thanks for coming over, Verna!
Hope you had a good sleep. I worked at one of the manufacturing companies in Manila before and I hate night shift. especially during Sundays and you can hear all the noises in the surrounding.
I sleep well during the day too so I don’t really mind doing night shifts. I guess it’s a matter of getting used to. Thanks for the visit, Marianne!
nice photos and the place is great
Thanks Rosemarie!
nice shot of Abu Dhabi. when will you be back in the Phil?
http://khyutee.wordpress.com

Interesting challenge. I like the photograph of the stairs.
I’m glad you liked that photograph! Thanks for stopping by
Sometimes, I also want to challenge myself to take more pictures. My SLR has been sleeping. Lol.
Oh my, make your SLR work! You’re lucky you have one! I only used my phone’s cam with this, btw.
Thanks for stopping by, Lizzie!
I wish Manila had wide open spaces like that place. I miss the rotundas we used to have instead of stoplights.
We still have lots of Rotondas here in Al Ain! But slowly they are changing them to stoplights one by one. They feel that rotondas/round-abouts are much dangerous.
Thanks for stopping by, Jellybelly!
nice pics. parang nakakatanggal ng stress.
Nakakatanggal nga ng stress
Thanks for coming over, Anne!
Very lovely place. So clean. Are you based in Dubai or Doha? =)

Hey! you really got a very nice place. The streets are very clean and the plants and trees are all well maintained. Hope Manila can be something like that too.
Visiting from BC.
That’s my wish too, Gigi! If only the Filipino taxes go to appropriate projects! Thanks for dropping by!
I’ve always wanted to be part of a photography group that will hold weekly photo challenges like this. It’s just something to look forward to every week. And in addition to that, you get to practice your photography skills. Btw, you’ve got a nice view from your place!
Everybody is welcome to join, Carol! I am not a photography enthusiast myself, but I enjoy this weekly photo posting using my celfone and point-and-shoot cams. i don’t have a DLSR. Thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful pictures and views but my fave are the streets with pine trees

You’ll have your time soon, Theresa!

Nice shots. Are these weekly photo challenge a contest? Just want to know. Thanks
Nope, it’s not a contest. WordPress comes up with a theme every week for bloggers to follow for posting photographs. Even non-photographers join this weekly thing. This is the site where we get inspirations for writing: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/ .
Thanks for stopping by, Allan!

Staircase exercise is great…and 4 floors at that. Good for you
You also have very nice views outside your window.
I do threadmill, so I guess I shouldn’t be using elevators… agree?
Thanks for stopping by!
I love places with lots of greenery! There’s a severe lack of that here in the city where I reside.
Green places are really nice to look at!
Thanks for stopping by!
Nice view!
And you still manage to blog after your shift. You’re one busy Dad!
Oh yes, I do blog after my shift. Blogging is my relaxation time

Great to view your journey back to your home. It must be fun staying in the city.
There are pros and cons in staying in the city. I actually prefer living in the province but fate brought me here
Thanks for the lovely visit, Dominique!
Great slice from your day.
Thanks, TBM!
I miss the Middle East! —>grew up in Jeddah

Is this in Dubai? Such a nice place. I like the top view of the parking lot.

I would say that too. I love where I am now.
