It’s really nice what you did for John. Even if doctors seemed to have given up on him, and even if he is terminally ill, you stayed there with him and made him feel that he is still loved and cared for. It’s true that being thanked for simply being there for our patients is a great feeling. You made someone’s life a whole lot brighter that time. And I’m sure you’re still doing the same right now.
