My First Attempt at Photo-video Editing

I can’t believe myself! This is my very first attempt at photo-video editing!

I was inspired by a lot of artistic wedding photographers in the Philippines who make fantastic wedding slide shows. I knew that most of them studied in order to perfect this art, so I thought it would be difficult if I try doing it myself.

I initially tried cutting our own wedding pictures into artistic cuts and arranged them in my Video Impression software. I added some nice music. And there you go! Our very own wedding photo show!

To upload the video on youtube, and to be able to transfer it to my own blog site were tasks that were so new to me. Yeah, call me Jurassic, coz I know everybody has been doing it for ages, but I am just darn proud of myself having done this without asking help from anybody. I just did a lot of exploring in the internet.

I had problems with the size of the video being too big so I had difficulty uploading it on youtube. I was able to reduce the size by converting the Video Impression-saved file to a Windows Movie Maker- saved file. That did the trick and I was able to upload the video easily.

Wow, this is amazing! I never knew I could make one like this. I know my work is still amateur and I still have a long way to go. Some pictures were those taken by the guests, while some were taken by our official photographer. That is why some pics were not as clear as the others.

Please let me know your opinion on my work J

Cheers!
